If I had wings
For the past few weeks we have been doing poetry. This weeks task was a poem about If I Had Wings... First we had to answer some questions and then we had to colour in the piece of paper with the poem. Last of all we had to write our own If I Had Wings poem. We had to use sticky language and the five senses

ReplyDeleteKia Ora Benny. Love your fabulous poem. I love the idea of following the trail of a shooting star if you could, wouldn't that be amazing! I also liked the last part where you said you would " fly over a BBQ and take a whiff of the sausages" very cool and I could imagine you doing just that. Well done Benny 🌠🌭🚀 Oh and Bon looks great with his black wings
ReplyDeleteHi Benny. I really enjoyed reading your 'If I had wings' poem. You used the senses and had some interesting, 'sticky' language. I also loved the part of your poem where you talked about following a shooting star as this got my imagination going. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBenny, you have certainly chosen effective vocabulary to describe what you'd do if you had wings. I especially liked the line your mother liked....."follow the trail of a shooting star."
ReplyDeleteGreat writing!
