Get NZ writing - poetry

Over the past few weeks we have been part
of the Get NZ writing poetry project.
This project is aimed to get 96,000 poems
written across NZ! We were sent a tin with
objects in it and we used one of these objects
to write poems. Here is my poem:

Battleship Ion.
Wooden cork.
Shanty craft magic pirate.
Glass vessel sail hull boat.
1500’s white story bottle.
Invade tiny sea.
Ship in a bottle.

  1. Hi Benny this is great. The first line "battleship ion" is an anagram, very clever. My favourite line is "invade tiny sea". Very cool. Love it xxx

  3. Hi Benny. I really enjoyed reading your poem. My favourite line is also ' invade tiny sea.' I really like the image you chose to go with your poem and the way you adjusted the brightness of the image to make it more effective. Ka rawe.
